DIRECTOR CONSULTING

I offer project-based consulting for directors and filmmakers.

I help with narrative problem-solving and identifying roadblocks at any stage of a project — development, production, post, or release. I’m often brought in when a project is stuck or carrying too much pressure, to help create clarity and forward movement.

WHAT I WORK ON

Narrative and structure — what the film is, what it’s trying to do, and where it’s getting blocked.

Authorship and collaboration — feedback on material, tone, and point of view, with attention to authorship.

Production decisions — scope, scale, and creative choices under real constraints.

Post-production — structural edit notes and how to land the film.

Positioning — how the project is framed, talked about, and where it belongs.

Single sessions or short engagements, tailored to the project.

Sessions typically include a pre-read, a 60–90 minute conversation, and clear next steps.
