Leilah Weinraub is a film director and artist working across narrative film, documentary, performance, and installation.
Her feature documentary Shakedown premiered at the Whitney Biennial and the Berlinale and later streamed on the Criterion Channel.
Her work has been presented internationally at institutions including the Whitney Biennial, MoMA PS1, Tate Modern, and the São Paulo Biennial.
Weinraub is a co-founder of Hood By Air and the founder of the film studio Texarkana.

Weinraub’s work moves between narrative film, documentary, performance, and multi-channel installation.
Her feature documentary Shakedown premiered at the Whitney Biennial and the Berlinale before later streaming on the Criterion Channel. Her films and installations have been presented internationally at institutions including the Whitney Biennial, MoMA PS1, Tate Modern, and the São Paulo Biennial.
Weinraub was a co-founder of the New York fashion label Hood By Air, where she directed runway shows, films, and global presentations that helped define the brand’s cultural identity.
She is the founder of the film studio Texarkana and lives and works between Los Angeles and New York.
